Cities & Places - APOLLO BAY - ANGLESEA
(Victoria)
|
|
Between Port Campbell and Apollo
Bay we are passing through the Otway
National Park, part of the Otway Range. The landscape along
the coast is changing. The orange, yellow and red colors from
the rocks are now replaced by the green of the trees. |

After Apollo Bay, Lorne
is an opportunity to stop. Take the time for a walk in the forest
with the Erskine
Falls as an objective.
The Erskine Falls falling from 30 m. high, are
very pretty. There is car park at 50 m. from the falls,
but most interesting is to enjoy the 10 kms. long walk
track, along the Erskine River Valley.

| Back on the road, we arrive to Anglesea,
a small town with a well-known golf course for the amateurs, but
not only for them. This golf course is open to the public and
has a particularity. Kangaroos are leaving there and can be seen
and approached on the course. |
|
| It is also an opportunity for me
to present you this shot I am calling The Kangaroo on
a skateboard, guess why? |
The Kangaroo on a

| Geelong
is the place to leave the coast for a while. Taking the Midland
Hwy. we are driving in direction of Ballarat, a name often associated
to Sovereign Hill.
